Our services
At Womens Integrative Counseling we focus on individual counseling with an integrative approach. Counseling sessions involve working with the client to increase nervous system regulation, reconnect with her physical self, and work towards acceptance and healing in her story. We utilize various methods of therapy to help each client reach her goals and find relief from her symptoms.
HRV Biofeedback
HRV biofeedback is a technique that uses real-time feedback on heart rate variability (HRV) to help clients learn to control their physiological state. This technique is helpful in teaching clients how to self-regulate and find relief from symptoms of anxiety, depression, and trauma.
Yoga in therapy
By bringing yoga practices into the counseling room we are helping integrate both the mind and body through utilizing mindfulness exercises and encouraging the client’s awareness of their emotions and thoughts in connection to physical sensations and movements.
Brainspotting
With Brainspotting we are able to access parts of the brain that traditional talk therapy is unable to. Many clients see relief from symptoms in fewer sessions and find resolution to deeper rooted issues more quickly than other therapeutic approaches.
